Melinda Benis, RHIA, CCS, is a HIM professional with broad coding and auditing experience. She is currently employed as the Audit Manager at M*Modal. With a career of 10 years, she has served in several management roles as well as health information disciplines including inpatient, outpatient facility, and professional based coding including auditing, clinical documentation improvement implementation, computer assisted coding implementation and project management.
She has volunteered by serving on committees on the state level for the Nebraska State Health Information Management Association Convention planning committee and Coding Roundtable. She has also presented coding and technology related topics at local and state conference.
Melinda has completed her Bachelors of Science Health Care Business majoring in Health Information Administration and Bachelors of Science in Health Care Business majoring in Informatics.
